Adjustments in the Mechanisms (Both at Physiological and Molecular Level) of Salt Tolerant Plants under Salt Stress.

Author: Iqnaa Naseer

Abstract: This review article unites the information from the diverse no of research paper in order to compose a comprehensive report of salt tolerant plants. So far the review articles published on the salt tolerant plants talk about a small number of characteristics of salt tolerant plants but in this review all the characteristics of salt tolerant plants as observes their classification their mechanisms against high salt concentrations have been summed up. The diverse methods are present in salt tolerant plants beside high salinity of the soil. It wraps all the characteristics of the................Read more

A Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship and Molecular Modeling studies on a Series of Hydroxamate analogues Acting as HDACs inhibitors.

Authors: Anubha Bajpai, Neeraj Agarwal and Dr. Amit Mishra

Abstract: The inhibition of HDACs is a rapidly growing and very promising area for cancer chemotherapy. In the QSAR study, we were observed that for the Hydroxamate analogues series which was HDAC inhibitory action, the correlation seems to be quite significant with indicator parameters and steric parameters such as Parachor, Index of refraction and Surface tension found to possess good predictive ability. A positive correlation found with Parachor , Index of refraction which increase activity with increases these parameters values which means................Read more

Role of Plant Biotechnology in the Advancement of Classical Agriculture.

Author: Iqnaa Naseer

Abstract: This review paper contains some of the places of interest of modern plant biotechnology and discusses the possible uses of biotechnology in the betterment of agricultural systems. Plant biotechnology will make easy the farming of crops with numerous strong resistances to pathogens and diseases, mainly in the dearth of pesticides. Similarly, transgenes or marker-assisted assortment may help out in the expansion of high yielding crops, which will be desired to give food to the world and keep land for the preservation of plant biodiversity in natural habitats..................Read more

Determination of Reliable Biomass Indicators in the Cyanobacterium Gloeothece.

Authors: Dr. Dilara I. Sharif and Emily Roberts

Abstract: Gloeothece is a nitrogen-fixing cyanobacteria surrounded by a polysaccharide sheath. The sheath has provided problems with determining the biomass for this species and so a number of techniques were tested to find the most reliable method. Optical density, chlorophyll a, protein and phycobiliprotein concentration were all measured every 2 weeks for a period of 6 weeks. These were compared with biovolume, which was calculated by determining cell abundance and mean cell volume from images taken using Laser Scanning Confocal Microscopy................Read more

Role of soy isoflavones in human health.

Author: Mohita Kushwaha

Abstract: There is a great arrangement of disagreement adjacent of soy foods, mostly due to their isoflavones which can bind to estrogen receptor and effect thyroid hormone .Isoflavones moderate the threat of prostate cancer and lower the LDL cholesterol. Soy Isoflavones compel the thyroid peroxidase. When we take high amount of soy isoflavones decrease the threat of endometrium cancer and ovarian cancer. It effect on neuroendocrine development in newborns. Soy isoflavones have no important assumption on thyroid hormones. Soy isoflavones may...............Read more
